YOU NEED to update the game or else you won't be able to finish the game. 

There is a bug at the very end of the game, that will just block you in front of the last boss forever, and nothing else will happen, so in order for you to finish the game, you need to update.

More bugs such as walking behind assets in the background and keeping quest items that you should loose have been fixed togheter with other small stuff.
